Are all of the rental properties privately owned?
Yes. All of our vacation homes are privately owned by individual homeowners throughout Mendocino County - including Fort Bragg, Mendocino, Albion, Caspar, Little River, Elk, and Manchester.
Each home is uniquely decorated and furnished to reflect the owner’s personal style and the character of the area. Amenities vary from property to property and may include ocean views, decks, fireplaces, hot tubs, or private beach access.
What’s included in my stay?
All of our properties come fully equipped for comfort and convenience. Each home includes:
- A starter set of dish soap, paper products, garbage bags, and toiletries
- Linens and towels, freshly laundered for each stay
- Basic kitchenware such as dishes, utensils, cookware, and appliances
Guests are responsible for bringing any additional supplies they may need during their stay.
Are any of the homes pet-friendly?
Many of our properties welcome pets! Pet-friendly homes are clearly marked in the listing description. If you plan to bring a pet, please review the specific home’s pet policy and note that a pet fee may apply.
Do you allow smoking?
No. All Casago Mendocino Coast properties are non-smoking, both indoors and outdoors. This policy helps us maintain clean, safe, and allergy-friendly homes for all guests.
Do you allow events, parties, or weddings?
No. To ensure respect for our homes, neighbors, and the local community, we do not allow any events, parties, or weddings at our properties. Our homes are intended for quiet enjoyment and relaxation only.
How are rental rates determined?
Rates are set on a per-night basis and vary depending on the home, season, location, and amenities. Each property has a maximum occupancy limit listed on its page. We do not permit sleeping bags, camping, or any setup that exceeds the maximum occupancy.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that travel plans sometimes change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be simple and transparent:
100% refund (minus booking fee) if cancelled 30 or more days before check-in
50% refund for cancellations within at least 14 days of check-in
No refund for cancellations within 13 days or less of check-in
No refund or exceptions for same-day cancellations, early departures, or no-shows
A booking fee applies to all reservations and is non-refundable. Full payment is due at the time of booking.

When are check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in: After 4:00 PM
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM
Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available upon request but are not guaranteed and may incur a fee.
