Casago Mendocino Coast - Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to stay with Casago Mendocino Coast. These Terms & Conditions govern all reservations made through Casago Mendocino Coast (“Casago,” “we,” or “our”) and outline our policies regarding payments, cancellations, and guest responsibilities.
By booking with us, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Reservation and Payment
- Full payment (including rent, taxes, cleaning fee, and booking fee) is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
- Payments are accepted via major credit or debit cards through our secure online payment platform.
- The booking fee covers processing and administrative costs and is non-refundable once the reservation is confirmed.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be straightforward and transparent:
- 100% refund (minus booking fee) for cancellations made 30 or more days before check-in.
- 50% refund for cancellations within at least 14 days of check-in
- No refund for cancellations within 13 days or less of check-in
- No refund or exceptions will be provided for same-day cancellations, early departures, or no-shows.
All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at booking.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in: After 4:00 PM
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM
Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available upon request but are not guaranteed. Additional fees may apply.
Guests are expected to:
- Load and start the dishwasher before departure.
- Leave used towels in the bathroom.
- Turn off lights, heaters, and appliances.
- Secure all doors and windows.
Failure to follow checkout procedures may result in an additional cleaning charge.
4. Rates and Occupancy
- Rates are quoted on a per-night basis and vary depending on season, property type, and occupancy.
- Each home has a maximum occupancy limit as stated in the property listing.
- Unauthorized guests or exceeding occupancy limits may result in additional charges or termination of the reservation without refund.
5. Additional Charges
Rental rates do not include:
- County and city taxes
- Departure cleaning fees (as stated at booking)
- Optional services (e.g., mid-stay cleans, pet fees, or special requests)
All charges will be itemized at the time of booking for transparency.
6. Security and Property Care
Guests are responsible for maintaining the property in good condition during their stay. Any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning required after checkout may result in additional charges billed to the guest’s payment method on file.
Casago Mendocino Coast is not responsible for personal items lost, stolen, or damaged during the stay.
7. Insurance and Homeowner Protection
Casago Mendocino Coast includes a Homeowner Protection Plan as part of the management program. This covers accidental damage to the property under standard terms. Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations, weather events, or emergencies.
8. Changes to a Booking
Any change to a confirmed reservation (such as altering dates or property) is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
9. Force Majeure
Casago Mendocino Coast shall not be held responsible for cancellations or interruptions due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Mendocino County, California.
